Event Details

eCon is an annual student run conference held at the University of Waterloo. It is hosted by the University of Waterloo’s Economics Society. The conference introduces students to general paths within the field of economics. This includes further education options, career strategy and different job markets. eCon 2016 will also include a networking session and a case competition with cash prizes!

eCon 2016 will be the third annual conference. This year’s conference aligns with the themes of previous years and will focus one of the largest questions of economics students and enthusiasts alike; What’s Next? eCon aims to highlight the plethora of careers options and pathways within economics whilst exploring industry trends and developments.
