Event Details
Waterloo Space Society is hosting a day-long field trip to the Cronyn Observatory at the University of Western Ontario, happening on January 25th, 2019. We will be solar observing/stargazing, touring the observatory, and joining the astronomy department for a pizza lunch. It is also a great networking opportunity, as you will have the chance to talk to profs and grad students about their research, tour labs, and more. This event is free for science students, including transportation, the activities for the day, and lunch. Space on the trip is limited, so please purchase a ticket as soon as possible to confirm a spot on the trip. If you have purchased a ticket and end up not being able to go, let us know so we can give the spot to someone else.
UPDATE:
Please be in the Davis Center lobby at 9:15am sharp on Friday morning if you are attending the tour. If you are late we will have to assume you aren't coming and leave without you!
