Join LAUNCH Waterloo at its first STEAM Tournament!
For kids aged 8-12! Spend a full day in interactive workshops designed to engage in the science, technology, engineering, art and math behind all things that launch!
Learn how concepts like drag, lift, gravity and thrust work to propel and accelerate aircraft and rockets. Work closely with STEAM coaches and compete in teams to design and build the highest, fastest, farthest launch for your chance to go home a champion in LAUNCH Waterloo’s first-ever STEAM Tournament. Parent/Guardian(s) must register participants in advance.
- Parent/Guardian(s) will be required to sign in and sign out their child, in person.
- Registrants must bring indoor shoes to wear in the gymnasium, snow boots will not be allowed.
- This is nut-free facility.

1:45pm: Remarks by our Special Guests
2:00 - 3:00pm: Round Challenges
3:15pm: Championship Rounds & Trophy Ceremony
4:00pm: Dismissal

LAUNCH Waterloo
LAUNCH Waterloo is re-inventing the STEAM program playbook for young people. Taking a page from minor sports, we are creating seasons of science, technology, engineering, arts and math programming. Team-based, progressive programs will inspire kids to have fun with STEAM while adding a little learning along the way!
