Celebrate International Women's Day 2019

Pacesetters’ is a unique, fast-paced afternoon where alumnae, friends, and faculty share career advice in areas ranging for soft skills to technical skills, entrepreneurship to leadership, industry to academic, and everything in between!

Register for 1, 2, or all 3 activities. It's an afternoon not to be missed!

Speed Networking Luncheon presented by Women in Mathematics (WiM) Committee
Time: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
Registration and Lunch:11:30 am -12:00 pm
Location: QNC 0101

A fun way to get advice, make connections, and gain visibility in a variety of industries and career paths in a short period of time. Registering is your first step to building a network with academia, industry, and business leaders. Your future self will thank you!

A fabulous complimentary lunch will be provided: sushi, samosas, meatballs, chicken satays, sandwiches, and sweet desserts.

Pecha Kucha Plus presented by Math #HeForShe
Time: 1:45 pm – 3:45 pm
Location: QNC 0101

Japanese for chit-chat, Pecha Kuchas (pronounced pe-chak-cha) are designed to inspire. Students will have a chance to hear from working alumnae about “the best piece of advice that they wished they had received”. Speakers will present in a fun and quick succession format. The “plus” will be a lively panel at the end moderated by Chair of the Faculty’s HeForShe committee, Raouf Boutaba. Complimentary refreshments provided. ALL STUDENTS WELCOME!
