Conversely, blockchains can act as a powerful substrate for security and cryptographic technologies.\\n\\nTo address key challenges and developments in these budding new fields of 'Security of Blockchain' and 'Blockchain for Security', the Waterloo Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute (CPI) is organizing a workshop on Blockchain+Security, where a set of world-leading experts in these topics from industry and academia will give talks from Saturday, October 5 to Sunday, October 6th at the University of Waterloo.
