Each student will be giving a 30 minute seminar that will include time for questions.\\n \\n\\nSeminar 1: Control of an Upper Extremity Rehabilitation Robot Systems with the design of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for Stroke Survivors by Parya Khoshroo\\n\\nBio: Parya graduated with a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering – Control Systems in 2016 and is currently a second-year master's student in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Under the supervision of Professor John McPhee and Professor Jennifer Boger, the emphasis of her research is on rehabilitation using an upper extremity stroke rehabilitation robot and to control it in such a way that can improve the upper-limb movements of people having a stroke.
